Cottonwood Creek Golf Club - Waco

After battling windy and wet conditions for two days at Cottonwood Creek, the District 16 - 5A Championship Tournament ended the same way that it has for most of the last two decades.

TIGER ONE - - - District 16 - 5A Champions - - - the dynasty continues.

Senior Daniel Perkins led the way for the Tigers carding back to back rounds of 77 for Silver Medalist honors for himself.

Perkins was joined by fellow Tiger teammates Haden Hoelscher, Owen Babcock, Miguel Matos and Chase Aggers on the 16-5A All-District Team

In two weeks, April 15 - 17, TIGER ONE will be making its 18 consecutive annual trip to the Regional Finals, this time at Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro, Texas.

Other Tiger golfers competing in the District Tournament were seniors Braydan LaMotte, Hudson Belobrajdic, junior Bryson Necessary, sophomores Wyatt McLean and Reid Erskine, and freshmen Cooper McDonald and Kypton Barrett.
