The JV Red Tigers opened the season with a 28-18 victory over the Hendrickson Hawks. An early 3 and out by the defense led to an opening score by Keller Lee on a long pass from Sawyer Harbin. An early fumble recovery by Caleb Gutierrez helped keep the Hawk offense off the field. The Tigers kept their foot on the gas pedal, scoring two more times in the first half behind an Aiden Robles rushing touchdown and a Nash Jordan receiving touchdown from Harbin. The second half was back and forth, with the Hawks closing to within 21-12. Nash Jordan sealed the victory with a touchdown run up the middle, giving the Tigers their 4th touchdown of the night. The JV Red Tigers have another home battle next week against the Georgetown Eagles
