The JV Red Tigers fought all game long in a back and forth thriller with the Georgetown Eagles. A touchdown by Nash Jordan on a 3 yard run gave the Tigers an early lead. The Eagles came back with a short touchdown and a turnover returned for a touchdown to take a 14-7 lead. A long touchdown pass from Sawyer Harbin to Keller Lee brought the game even 14-14. Great defensive effort kept the Eagles off the scoreboard for most of the second half, led by Caleb Gutierrez with multiple tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Morgan Pascoe had a key interception to give the ball back to the Tiger offense. A great hustle play by Eli Idoux allowed the Tigers to force one of several 4th down turnovers. Sawyer Harbin finished the Tiger scoring with a QB run up the middle to give the Tigers a late lead. Ultimately the ball would bounce the Eagles way, as time ran out on the Tigers. The final score was 22-21. A hard fought battle gives the JV Red Tigers something to build on as they move forward in their season.
