On Thursday, September 4th, the Tigers traveled to Georgetown to play the Eagles. There were some brights spots during the game, but the Tigers were not able to keep up with the high-flying Eagles in a 60-22 loss.

Bright spots on defense included a fumble recovery by Nathaniel Brillhart. Great pass coverage and overall effort by Darnell Adams. Tough Defensive line play by Jakobe Robinson and Outside Linebacker Caden Miller.

The Tigers were able to score three touchdowns in the game. The first touchdown came on a 75-yard kick return by Aiden Horton and Brody Lee had a short run for the two-point conversion. The second touchdown came at the end of a long drive on a 14 yard pass from Brody Lee to Brett Smith and Brody Lee added a short run again for the two-point conversion. The third touchdown was a run from Aiden Horton that covered 88 yards for the score but the two-point try failed giving the Tigers a total of 22 points.

With the loss, the Tigers run their record to 1- 1 and will next be in action at home versus East View on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:30 P.M.
