The JV Red Tigers travelled to San Angelo Central High School on Thursday night. The first half of the game was a steady back and forth, each team coming out a little slow. Keller Lee led the Tigers offense on a scoring drive in the first half. Behind the Morgan Pascoe field goal from that drive, the game was tied 3-3 at the half. Steady defense for both sides paced the second half. The Tigers defense was led by Alex Carpenter and Gio Rivero up front. Amani House and Alex Matos played strongly in the secondary. Despite strong offensive efforts by Corbin Wittman and Xander Martinez, the offense could not find the end zone. A late touchdown by the home team eventually gave way to a 10-3 loss for the Tigers. The JV Red Tigers are back home at Tiger field next Thursday night.
