The JV Red Tigers battled Brenham on Wednesday night for the district title. In what turned out to be a close fought battle, the Tigers narrowly lost, 19-14. The entire defense played tough all night, led by Gerardo Montiel and Caleb Gutierrez. Morgan Pascoe, Kainyn Smith and Gio Rivera also contributed big time plays throughout the game. The offense scored on a long screen pass to Braxton Boyd and a rushing touchdown by Keller Lee. Pascoe added two extra points to give the Tigers their 14. The Tigers season ends with an overall record of 7-3, and 4-1 in district.
