The Freshman A Tigers fell to Liberty Hill 63–21 in a tough matchup. Ayla Wakershauser pulled down 6 rebounds while Mia Staley added 10 more on the boards. Despite the adversity, the girls stayed together and supported each other throughout all four quarters. Madelyn Rodriguez led the team with 8 points. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience as the team continues to grow and improve.
The JV Tigers fell to Liberty Hill 45–17. The team played hard from start to finish against a strong opponent, but struggled to get shots to fall throughout the night. The Tigers look to bounce back on December 2 against Leander Rouse.
The Varsity Tigers took on the State Runner-Ups in a fast-paced, run-and-gun matchup, ultimately falling 80–25. There were bright spots, including breaking a tough press and competing on the boards better than in previous games. Strong leadership from Ke’Ara Shanks helped the team stay composed and finish the game the right way. The value of competing against such a formidable opponent was not lost on the Tigers, who now look ahead to several games this weekend at the Warrior Classic.
