n a thriller that showcased grit, resilience, and an unshakeable team spirit, the Belton Tigers edged out A&M Consolidated 65–64 in a game that will be remembered for its dramatic finish. Trailing by nine midway through the fourth quarter, Belton refused to fold, stringing together defensive stops and timely baskets to claw back into contention. The momentum swung fully in their favor in the final seconds when Noah Childers rose up and buried the game-winning shot, igniting the gym and capping off a comeback built on belief and effort. The victory reflected the Tigers’ elite competitive will—every possession mattered, and every player stepped up when it counted most.

Belton’s balanced attack and toughness were on full display throughout the night. Ty Johnson was incredibly solid from start to finish, leading with poise and contributing 13 crucial points. Luke Munden and Jay’dn Loggins added double-digit scoring of their own, giving Belton steady offensive production against a strong A&M Consolidated squad. In the paint, Daniel Briscoe and Abran Knight were forces on the boards, creating extra possessions and sparking transition opportunities with their physical presence and play-making. Together, their work set the stage for Childers’ heroics and underscored the collective effort that powered Belton’s comeback win.
