The Belton Tigers delivered a spectacular performance at the Jarrell Basketball Tournament, sweeping all three of their games to claim the tournament championship. The Tigers showcased their dominance from the outset, starting with a resounding victory over the host team, Jarrell, in the first game. The final score of 65-15 demonstrated Belton's superior offense and airtight defense. They carried this momentum into their second match-up against Northeast, where they achieved an even more decisive win, cruising to a 74-6 finish. This early display of skill set the tone for the entire tournament, establishing Belton as the team to beat and underlining their championship aspirations.

The Tigers sealed their perfect run in the tournament by defeating Jarrell once more in the final game, securing a comfortable 64-22 victory and completing their undefeated stretch. While the team excelled as a unit, several players delivered standout individual performances. Hunter Hurst was the undeniable offensive force, finishing as the tournament's leading scorer with an impressive total of 49 points across the three games. Meanwhile, Parker Munz provided essential leadership, being a vocal leader on the court and ensuring the team maintained high-level execution throughout every possession.

Complementing the scoring and leadership were key contributions in playmaking and defense. Camyrn Jackson proved to be an excellent facilitator, skillfully distributing the ball and consistently placing his teammates in prime scoring positions. Perhaps the most dominant force on the defensive end was David McCallum, who controlled the boards with his tenacious rebounding throughout the entire tournament. His presence as an elite defender provided a vital anchor for the Tigers' defense, ultimately contributing significantly to their large margins of victory and the overall tournament championship win.
