The Belton Varsity girls traveled to Waco Connally and came home with a strong 48–28 win. Defensively, Aubrey Edwards was a standout, and Olivia Henderson played her best basketball of the year.
The team now turns its focus toward district play as they head to the Jarrell Invitational this weekend, opening pool play against Little River Academy, La Grange, and the Austin Royals.
