The Belton Freshman B Boys Basketball team lost a hard-fought home game to the Austin Anderson Trojans 52-40. Despite falling behind, the Tigers showed impressive fighting spirit, battling back to narrow the lead in the fourth quarter and pushing Anderson until the final buzzer. The offense was led by T. Lundberg and T. Heath, who both contributed 8 points each on the night, keeping the Tigers in contention.
The team's effort was strongly supported by M. Courey, who was a consistent force in the paint. Courey excelled on the boards, securing offensive rebounds for valuable second-chance points and acting as a solid defender. His relentless hustle provided key opportunities for Belton. While the final score was a loss, the Freshman B Tigers' balanced scoring and late-game determination proved their competitive spirit.
