Stepping up to face varsity competition, the Tigers engaged in three hard-fought victories to earn a coveted spot in the championship game. Their tournament run began with a narrow, yet decisive, 53-46 win against Valor. They continued their winning ways by overcoming Texas Wind with a strong 47-39 performance and capped their qualifying run with a 58-45 victory over Cameron. These competitive wins highlighted the team's resilience and ability to execute under pressure against older, more experienced opponents.

The Tigers’ exceptional run led them to the tournament finale where they faced the host team, Moody, in a nail-biting championship contest. The game was a tight, defensive battle down to the final buzzer, with the Belton Tigers ultimately falling just short in a very close 46-43 loss. Despite the championship setback, the team played hard throughout the entire tournament, with their star scorer, Hunter Hurst, consistently leading the team's offense. His scoring kept the Tigers competitive in every single contest they played, proving his capability as a key offensive weapon.
