The Belton Tigers turned in a strong performance at the Kaufman Holiday Tournament, finishing with a 3–1 record while facing a variety of challenges and styles of play. Belton opened tournament action in dominant fashion with a 104–66 win over North Forney, setting the tone with pace, depth, and unselfish offense. The Tigers followed with a solid 74–55 victory over Garland, showing discipline and balance on both ends of the floor. Their lone setback came in a hard-fought 52–48 loss to Fort Worth Brewer, a game that tested Belton’s resolve and highlighted the fine margins of tournament basketball.

Rather than allowing the loss to define them, the Tigers responded with renewed focus and energy, closing the tournament with a convincing 78–60 win over Carrollton Creekview. Throughout the four games, Belton battled adversity, leaned on one another, and continued to grow as a unit. That growth was reflected in their ability to adjust, respond to pressure, and maintain confidence in high-intensity moments—qualities that are critical as the season progresses.

Individually, Daniel Briscoe’s impact stood out, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament Team thanks to his physical play, rebounding, and leadership. Offensive production and strong play came from across the roster, with Noah Childers, Ty Johnson, Jay’dn Loggins, Luke Munden, Gavin Ross, Abran Knight, and Asa Thomas all making meaningful contributions throughout the tournament. The balanced effort and shared responsibility reinforced Belton’s identity as a connected, resilient group—one that continues to improve with each test it faces.
