The varsity girls closed out their preseason on the road with a 61–44 win over the China Spring Cougars. Four Tigers reached double figures, highlighting the team’s unselfish play on the offensive end. Defensively, Ke’Ara Shanks brought consistent effort, while Emma Harvey controlled the boards. Dylan Waldrep, Ella Tucek, Aubrey Edwards, and Olivia Henderson provided valuable minutes off the bench and handled the fast-paced game well.

Belton finishes the preseason at 13–11—two more wins than the 2024–25 season total. Now the real work begins as district play tips off. The Tigers open district at home against Lake Belton on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
