The Freshman A team won a hard fought close game against Chaparral on Friday, January 16th 23-19. The girls all work together to contribute to the 23 points scored, Mia Staley had a game high of 8 with Natalie Mott adding 4 of her own. 4 other tigers had a bucket or two to add to the team win. The girls had a total of 12 steals in the game and 6 assists. Anessa Ortiz put in the bucket with 1 minute to go after the score was tied 19-19 and Amaiyah Cruz added a transition bucket as well with a full court assist made by Audrey Soosemea. The bench energy carried the team through a well deserved win.
