The Belton Freshman Red team left no room for doubt Tuesday night, controlling the tempo from the opening tip to the final whistle in a massive 57-16 victory over Ellison. It was a wire-to-wire performance that showcased the Tigers' defensive intensity and clinical offensive execution.
The Tigers' defense was the story of the night, suffocating Ellison and holding them to just 16 points over four quarters. That defensive pressure translated directly into easy transition buckets, allowing Belton to build a lead early and never look back.
