The Lady Tigers opened district play in impressive fashion with a commanding 5–0 victory in their home opener, delivering a complete performance on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, Adriana Jaimes led the way with two goals, one assisted by Destiny Schutz, who consistently created chances and set the tone in the attack. Karington Kopriva added a goal of her own, while Abby Idoux finished with two goals, one coming off assists from Kopriva, highlighting strong chemistry and unselfish play in the final third.

Defensively, the Lady Tigers were just as sharp. Destiny Mendez earned credit for the shutout in goal, backed by outstanding play from the backline that limited opportunities and controlled the pace throughout the match.

It was a strong team effort from start to finish and a statement win to open district play in front of the home crowd.

Next up, the Lady Tigers head on the road to face Ellison High School on Friday, February 6, with JV Red kicking off at 5:30 PM followed by Varsity at 7:15 PM.
