The Belton Tigers battled hard against Waco University but fell 2–0 in a match of close calls and tough breaks. Both goals were unfortunate—one even ricocheting off a Belton player—so the scoreline didn’t reflect how competitive we were. We created numerous scoring opportunities throughout the game and pressured them consistently, but couldn’t convert when it mattered. Despite the loss, the team showed grit and produced chances to build on for the next match.
