With their backs against the wall in a must-win game, the Tigers rose to the moment. A 60–43 win over Waco High punched Belton’s ticket to the UIL state playoffs for the first time since 2022.
Laila Huston and Emma Harvey delivered breakout offensive performances, each scoring 15 points, with Harvey adding 18 rebounds to complete a dominant double-double. Isabella Warner and Emma Flory sparked the offense by attacking the lane and creating scoring opportunities for teammates, while Ella Tucek, Ke’Ara Shanks, and Aubrey Edwards made a major impact on the defensive end.
Details about next week’s playoff matchup will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
