Belton capped off district play in impressive fashion, defeating Waco University to secure an 8–2 record and earn a share of the district championship. The Tigers controlled the tempo and executed on both ends of the floor, showing the poise and maturity that has defined their season. With the win, Belton moves to 28–6 overall and finishes district play as co-district champions, a testament to their consistency and resilience throughout the year.

Ty Johnson led the charge with 23 points, attacking with confidence and setting the tone offensively from the start. Jay’dn Loggins delivered outstanding playmaking and decision-making, keeping the offense organized and creating opportunities for his teammates. Noah Childers and Daniel Briscoe knocked down key shots with sharp shooting performances, stretching the defense and capitalizing on open looks. Luke Munden and Gavin Ross added strong playmaking and finishing, helping the Tigers maintain control and build separation as the game progressed.

The night was especially meaningful as all seniors saw action in a memorable senior night celebration. Manager Oliver Lynch, along with Keishawn Coles, Jayden Holt, and Asa Thomas, all stepped onto the floor to the delight of teammates and fans. It was a fitting moment for a group that has contributed greatly to the program’s culture and success. The victory not only clinched a share of the district title but also highlighted the unity and depth that make this Belton team a formidable contender heading into postseason play.
