Belton faced off against the Leander Lions as the fifth game of the tournament. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead and kept that lead thanks to Billy Young on the mound, but couldn’t finish it out as Leander jumped ahead in the seventh. Final score 3-5.
The Tigers next game will be against Del Valle Tuesday night.
