On a special Senior Night at Wilson-Kerzee, the Lady Tigers closed out their final home match of the season in dominant fashion with an 8-0 victory over Ellison HS.
Before kickoff, we honored our seniors and the impact they’ve made on our program — and they made sure the night ended in memorable fashion.
The Lady Tigers wasted no time setting the tone. Penelope Vizcarra opened the scoring off an assist from Destiny Schutz to put us up 1-0. Destiny then added a goal of her own, assisted by Makenzie Albrycht, and later found the back of the net again to give us a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.
The second half belonged to Destiny, who completed a five-goal performance with two more scores — one assisted by Adriana Jaimes and another from Abby Idoux.
Adriana then capped the night in emphatic fashion, scoring the final three goals of the match — all unassisted — to seal the 8-0 win.
It was a fitting way to celebrate our seniors: a complete team performance, strong attacking play, and a night they’ll always remember.
Next up, the Lady Tigers travel for what is always a contentious district matchup against Waco High on Friday night.
