The Belton Tigers’ remarkable season came to a close in the Area round with a hard-fought loss to West Mesquite, ending a year defined by grit, growth, and championship-level consistency. Belton battled throughout the contest, competing with the same toughness that carried them all season long. Noah Childers led the way offensively with 23 points, attacking the basket and stepping up when his team needed him most. Despite the outcome, the Tigers showed resilience and heart until the final buzzer.

Belton finishes the year with an outstanding 29-7 record, earning the title of Co-District Champions and capturing a Bi-District Championship along the way. This group established itself as one of the most accomplished teams in program history, combining unselfish play, relentless defense, and a commitment to one another. Their leadership, work ethic, and competitive spirit set a standard that will continue to shape the program moving forward. While the season ended sooner than they hoped, the legacy of this team is one of pride, unity, and championship character.
