With Anya Jinadatha winning the individual medalists, Annaleigh Holliday coming in second place, Abby Beck fourth place and Isha Jinadatha fifth place, the Girls Golf Team won the District Championship by an amazing 111 strokes over Lake Belton. Mackensie McGarry was the fifth member and finish in seventh place. The two-day tournament was shortened to 27 Holes because of the rain, that was played at Cottonwood Golf Course in Waco.
Ella Hice finishes in sixth place which was enough to qualified her for Regionals as a Medalist Qualifier.
Also, Ella Bralley made All District by finishing in eight place.
This makes the Girls Golf Team Back-to-Back District Champions the last two years.
Now, the six qualifiers go to Regionals in Pottsboro at Tanglewood Golf Resort, April 15 and 16.
