Girls Golf Team placed a solid eighth place at the Regional 2 5A Championship at Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro TX of sixteen teams. Entering tenth of the second day of the tournament, they jump two places by shooting their best round of the year. Anya Jinadatha finishes in 35 place, but her 86 on the second day jump her many places and push the team to a respectable 8th place. Her last nine was only 3 over, her best of the year. Mackenzie McGarry had a good tournament, she finishes in 48th place and second on the team. Annaleigh Holliday place 50th, Abby Beck 56th, Isha Jinadatha 60th and Ella Hice 65th. The Girls Golf Team will only lose one player (SR Annaleigh), so the Back-to-Back District Champions hopefully can look forward to next year.
