In last night’s home match, the Varsity girls showed major improvement against repeat opponent Harker Heights. The Tigers came out hot to capture the opening set 25–22 and continued to show immense growth by pushing the Knights to extra points in a tight 24–26 second set before ultimately falling 3–1. Kierra Ellis posted a breakout performance with 14 kills and 5 digs, while Malu Palu set the defensive tone by racking up 15 digs in just two sets. Up next, the Tigers look to carry this momentum into their final tournament of the season at Academy High School this weekend.
