The varsity volleyball team took silver at the Academy Bumblebee Classic this past weekend, bringing their season record to .500 in a strong rebuilding year. The team went 5-1 overall, facing scrappy, fast and powerful competition throughout. Although they ultimately fell to Burnet in the championship match, the team showed clear improvement from the first set to the second. Senior Ella Tucek earned All-Tournament honors for her well-rounded play—contributing heavily in setting, defense, and at the net—while continuing to serve as one of the team's primary leaders and morale boosters.
