Setting a dominant tone for the district opener from the very first play, Akai Cook fielded the opening kickoff and sliced through the coverage for a touchdown, putting Belton up 6-0 in the blink of an eye. That initial spark ignited an offensive floodgate, as the Tigers scored in waves and never allowed the Rangers a chance to catch their breath.

Belton's explosive air attack took center stage thanks to quarterback Apollo Palomares, who delivered a stellar performance throwing for four touchdown passes. Palomares connected with Thomas Carpenter on a 57-yard bomb, hit Cooper Chambley for a 46-yard strike, and found Cannon Carroll for a pair of scores—one on a crisp 5-yard route and another on a quick screen that Carroll took 43 yards to the house.
