The Belton Girls Soccer team traveled to Frisco for the Annual Dr. Pink Soccer Tournament. This was the first varsity game for many of the players and what better way to do it than against tough competition?
Thursday's game was against Hebron which was a physical and competitive game. Hebron broke the deadlock 65 minutes into the game and added the final 2 goals in the last 6 minutes of the game. 0-3 Final
Friday was a 1-0 win over El Paso Montwood. Penelope Vizcarra tapped in the only goal of the game after an Abby Idoux shot was saved by the Montwood goalkeeper.
The final game was against Frisco Centennial HS. Centennial went up 1-0 early in the game after a very slow start by the Tigers. The game ended 4-1 in favor of Lady Tiger Soccer with goal scorers Kiersten Rowland 2x (assist Marissa Christenson), Tori Lucksinger, and Lauren Mckinney.
Next up for Lady Tiger Soccer is the Governors Cup in Georgetown with the first game on Thursday at 2:30 vs Tomball.
