The Tigers were hosted by Waco University this past Friday. After a 30 minute lightning delay, both teams were ready to get rolling.

In the first half, the Tigers struggled to do anything offensively. University had some good chances, but the Tigers were able to take those punches and keep it scoreless, 0-0 to end the half.

The 2nd half was a back and forth battle. The game was open, leaving chances for both teams. University was able to score off a cross, as we did not have everyone marked up. We followed up with hitting the crossbar, but could not even the game. University was able to score a 2nd near the end of the game, to make the score 2-0.

Even though we made two mistakes in the 2nd half, our overall performance was much better. The guys worked hard all game and never gave up.

We have a tough week ahead of us as we host Waco High and travel to Lake Belton on Tuesday and Friday.
