Lady Tiger Soccer hosted University HS on Friday night. Friday night's game was the Tigers' first home game of the season.
The first half of soccer was mostly Belton pushing the tempo with many opportunities to score but only one found the back of the net. Delaney Bouteller scored the lone goal for Belton in the first half.

The second half was a little more competitive with the Lady Trojans releasing the play a few times in the Tigers defensive 3rd. Elizabeth Marschall did have to make one outstanding save from a free kick, but an overall slow night for the Belton goalkeeper.

Ava Itz scored the Tiger's 2nd and final goal of the game off of a Delaney cross.
The final score was Belton 2 University 0.

Belton will travel to Waco ISD Stadium on Wednesday (not Tuesday) to play Waco HS.
