The tigers snagged a season opener win at McCallum High School last night finishing 50-29. The team played with high energy. The Belton girls did a great job on the boards pulling down 17 offensive rebounds led by Tyler Waldrep who had 5. The Tigers handled the Knight's fast pace transition game and picked up 11 steals led by Lily Trujillo who had 3. Isabella Warner led the offensive end with 25 points and Ke'Ara shanks added 4 assists.
