Even though they went into the half with a 2 point lead, the Belton girls struggled to put to together a complete game and ended up losing to the athletic Temple Wildcats at home Friday night 48-33. Second half scoring was a struggle as foul trouble and lack of rebounding caused a momentum swing in the way of the opponent. Avelle Bonfoh contributed 17 points to lead the Tigers. Defensive effort by Emma Harvey was noticeable and did prevented her team against too many easy buckets for the opponent. The Tigers will go at it again Monday at Leander High School at 1:00pm before being off for Thanksgiving Break.
