Wall of Honor Inductees 2020-Present
Denver Holman- Football – 2020
Denver was born to Brad and Tiffany Holman in Temple, Texas.
Holman played football and ran track for the Tigers. He was a two year starter for the Tigers as a receiver and return man. Denver joins his sister, Sydney Holman, as a member of the Wall of Honor.
LeNet Franklin – Softball – 2020
Franklin attended Belton ISD schools throughout the course of early life. She attended Southwest Elementary (Pre-K through fourth grade), Belton Intermediate School (fifth and sixth grades), Belton Junior High School (seventh and eighth grades) and Belton High School (ninth grade through 12th grade).
Caleigh Robinson – Softball – 2017-2019
In 2016, Robinson made the varsity softball team during her freshman year. During that season, Robinson hit .412, had 40 hits, hit three home runs, and drove in 33 runs. She had an on-base percentage of .482 and hit .447 (21-of-47) with runners in scoring position. She was a major contributor in the Tigers’ record-setting 29-game winning streak.
Robinson was named to the 2016 All-District 12-6A First Team Infield and 2016 Texas Sports Writer’s Association Class 6A All-State Honorable Mention Team.
Avery Drake – Softball – 2017-2019
Avery Drake was named to the Texas Sports Writer’s All-State First Team in 2017, and Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team in 2018 and 2019.
Edgar Soto – Soccer – 2020
Edgar Soto was a member of the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Association All-State & All-American Team. Edgar was 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-American and the Texas Player of the Year.
Brady Shadrick – Baseball – 2022
Brady Shadrick was a multi-sport student-athlete at Belton High School who earned multiple state recognitions for his academic and athletic efforts before graduating in 2021. Brady was born in Louisville, Ky., to parents Scott and Robin Shadrick. After moving to Belton, Brady attended Sparta Elementary and South Belton Middle School. He played in the Belton Youth Baseball Association for the Naturals, Longhorns and Angels, helping each team make the playoffs, and also played around the state on AAA and Major select teams.
Abby Cargile – Soccer – 2022
Abby Cargile was a standout athlete at Belton High School who graduated in 2021.
She was born in Denton, Texas, to parents John and Kami Cargile. The family would later move to Belton where Abby attended Pirtle Elementary and Lake Belton Middle School.
Katelyn Chrisman – Soccer – 2022
Katelyn Chrisman is a former Belton High School athlete who set and tied multiple school records.
Katelyn was born in Waco, Texas, to parents David and Julie Chrisman and attended Sparta Elementary and South Belton Middle School before arriving at BHS.
Paige Nunes – Softball – 2022
As a student-athlete at Belton High School, Paige Nunes earned multiple state recognitions for her contributions to her team.
Paige was born in Temple, Texas, to Vincent and Holly Nunes. She attended Belton ISD schools from kindergarten through graduation from Belton High School. Paige, who was a four-year letter winner for the BHS softball program, also played volleyball her freshman year.
Logan Hall – Football – 2023
Former Belton Tiger Logan Hall had an incredible football career playing for the University of Houston. He was a big part of a defensive line unit that referred to itself as Sack Avenue. His stellar work of the field and play on the field had Logan poised to be a high draft pick in the 2022 NFL draft. Logan was selected with the first pick in the second round, 33 overall pick, by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ayanna Jones – Track & Field – 2023
Ayanna “AJ” Jones had an outstanding athletic career at Belton High School where she lettered in basketball and track & field.
As a senior, AJ helped the girls basketball team make the playoffs and was named a First Team All-District player. AJ’s hard work, athleticism, and willingness to do what the team needed made her an invaluable member of the team.
Makenna Morrow – Girls Soccer – 2024
Makenna Morrow distinguished herself as an outstanding student-athlete, earning Academic All-District every year and achieving Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO) and Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State. She also received the United Soccer Coached Senior Excellence Award in 2023 and finished in the top five percent of her graduating class.
Allie Angell – Girls Soccer – 2024
Allie Angell, born to Norman Angell and Stephanie Long of Temple, Texas, had her roots firmly embedded in the Belton Independent School District. She began her educational journey at Leon Heights Elementary and continued at Lake Belton Middle School. But, it was on the Belton High School soccer field where Angell undeniably made her impact.
