The Tiger Powerlifting team delivered an outstanding performance at the Division 1 Boys Powerlifting Regional Meet in Joshua, Texas, showcasing their strength, determination, and teamwork. With several standout performances, the Tigers proved they are a force to be reckoned with on the platform.

Corbin Wittman had a career-defining day, setting an all-time personal best with a total weight lifted of 795 pounds. His impressive performance demonstrated his hard work and dedication throughout the season, earning him well-deserved recognition among his teammates and competitors.

Daniel Arana continued to impress, securing a 3rd-place finish in the highly competitive 123-pound weight class. Arana’s total of 1,130 pounds not only earned him a spot on the podium but qualified him for the upcoming State Meet. His consistency and focus have been key to his success this season.

Logan Ricks also punched his ticket to State with a remarkable total of 1,300 pounds. Ricks’ strength and determination were on full display as he dominated his weight class, solidifying his place among the state’s elite lifters.

The Tigers’ success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of their teammates and coaches. A special thank you goes to Ian Smith, Owen Rivera, and Ethan Walker for their unwavering support and assistance during the meet. Their encouragement and camaraderie played a crucial role in creating a positive and motivating environment for the lifters.

The Tigers now turn their attention to the State Meet, held in Abilene on Saturday, March 22nd. With Arana and Ricks qualified and the entire team behind them, the Tigers are ready to compete at the highest level and bring home more accolades for their program.

Congratulations to all the lifters, coaches, and supporters on a fantastic Regional Meet performance. The Tigers are roaring louder than ever as they prepare to take on the best in Texas at State!
