The Girls Golf Team won the District Championship by 33 strokes over Lake Belton at Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen. The Girls shot their best scores in the two-day tournament for the whole year. After shooting their best score for the year on the first day, they beat that score by four strokes on the second day. All five girls made All-District by finishing in the top ten. Jacklyn Munoz led the team by placing 2nd, Anya Jinadatha 4th place, Abby Beck 5th place, Isha Jinadatha 6th place and Hanna Wheeler 7th place. Other players that competed in the tournament were Mackenzie McGarry, Ella Hice, Annaleigh Holliday, Evalie Stearns, and Avery Rivera. Next up for the Girls Team is Regionals at Tanglewood Golf Resort in Pottsboro, April 14-15.
