The JV Tigers softball team defeated Chaparral 6-3 in a great team win. Addi Reed pitched a strong game against a good opponent. She struck out 8 in 3 1/3 innings, walked 3 and only gave up 2 earned runs. She helped her cause with a monster triple to right center that she ended up scoring on because of a bad throw. Sam Smith had a great night going 2-2 with and rbi and a run scored. The team is still growing in game knowledge and skills, but their growth is evident in how they play the game.
