Last night the Belton varsity volleyball team had a home match. They hosted the China Spring Cougars and defeated the Cougars in 4 sets (25-23, 25-16, 17-25, 25-23).

The Tigers’ have been on the road the last few weeks, it was great to be back in Tiger Gym and end with a win! Setters, Landry Duggan and Ella Tucek, did a phenomenal job running the offense. CJ Stites led the team in kills, followed by Kaitlyn McCracken and Brylee Renegar. Defensively, CJ Stites led the team in digs followed by Landry Duggan and Miley Davila.

Miley Davila earned her 500th career dig at a tournament a few weeks ago and we surprised her with a celebration during her first dig of the match!

The Tigers will have a bye on Tuesday, but will be back on the court Friday, September 12th. They will travel to Gatesville and play at 4:30pm. Let’s go Tigers!
