On Wednesday, September 10th, the Belton Tiger Swim Team faced off against Lake Belton and New Tech High School in an exhibition swim meet to get the season started! With several great individual swims and competitive relays, the Tigers got out to a fast start! With a young team of 7 new Freshman swimmers (Matias Pinzon, Luke Brunsting, Jannette Davis, Emily Layne, Brayden Ludwig, Adrien Oros, and Lillie Pasco), Belton showed it has strengths top to bottom! Standout performances were seen throughout the 90 minutes, such as Ema Whitzel's 100 Butterfly 1st place finish and best time, Kirra Martin's 1st place finish in the 200 IM, and Michael Reeves' two 1st place finishes in both the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke!
