Last Friday, the Belton Tigers hosted the Ellison Eagles for another district match up. The Tigers defeated the Eagles in three straight sets (25-13, 25-11, 25-21) for another district win!

This was a great team win for the Tigers. Every member on the team had a contribution to the game. The Tigers led both the entire first and second set. While they fell a little behind in the third set, they stayed focused and disciplined to get the edge over the Eagles making the score 18-17. The Tigers were able to pull away and take the match.

This win brings the Tigers to 3-1 in district. On Tuesday, October 7th, the Tigers will travel to Waco High School for the last game of the first round of district. On Friday, October 10th, the Tigers will travel to Lake Belton High School to take on the Broncos to start the second round of district. Let’s go Tigers!
