Last night, the Belton Tigers hosted the Waco Lions for their last District game and last home game of the season. The Tigers defeated the Lions in three straight sets!

The Tigers finished 8-2 in District, which put them at a second place finish! The Tigers swept every team in their District, besides one team, in three straight sets every match up. This win also gave the Tigers their 30th win of the season and put them at a 30-12 season record!

We also got to celebrate senior, Landry Duggan, for reaching a milestone of 1,000 career assists! Landry achieved this milestone after being on varsity for only two years and running a 6-2 offense both years! We are so proud of Landry for this achievement!

The Tigers will travel to Troy High School on Monday, October 27th to compete against the Trojans in a warm up match before heading to the playoffs next week. Be on the lookout for Bi-District playoff information to come! Let’s go Tigers!
