The Belton Tigers delivered a gritty and resilient performance in their 66–60 overtime victory against East View, overcoming a nine-point halftime deficit with discipline, poise, and relentless team energy. From the moment the second half began, Belton tightened up defensively and found rhythm on offense, chipping away at East View’s lead possession by possession. Noah Childers set the tone with consistent, composed play and finished with 15 points, keeping the Tigers within striking distance. As overtime arrived, Belton’s confidence grew, and the team’s collective belief became the driving force behind the comeback.

In the extra period, the Tigers’ depth and toughness shined. Ty Johnson knocked down a clutch three that swung momentum Belton’s way, while Abran Knight and Gavin Ross secured crucial rebounds and made high-impact plays to seal possessions. Luke Munden and Jay’dn Loggins contributed versatile scoring throughout the night, attacking defenses from multiple spots on the floor. Near the rim, Daniel Briscoe and Keishawn Coles delivered game-changing moments, including two massive charges that halted East View rallies and electrified the Belton bench. It was a true team win—full of heart, hustle, and composure—and a testament to the Tigers’ ability to rise when the pressure is highest.
