The Freshman A team fell to Rouse 55–33 on Tuesday, December 2nd. Rouse’s physical press and tough on-ball defense set the pace early. Belton battled back with strong defensive stretches of their own, but Rouse pulled away in the second half.

Mia Staley led the boards with 9 rebounds, followed by Kylee Pierce with 7. Pierce also paced the offense with 13 points, while Ortiz added 9. Amaiyah Cruz stepped up to help the A team, bringing great energy and effort. Natalie Mott contributed solid defense and added a few buckets of her own.
