The Belton Freshman White Tigers traveled for a competitive matchup against the Temple Wildcats, ultimately falling in a hard-fought contest. Belton set the tone early, jumping out to a quick lead thanks to an aggressive offensive start. R. Alaniz was a major factor for the Tigers, providing a huge offensive spark and consistently finding ways to score to keep Belton ahead in the early stages of the game.
However, the Wildcats managed to claw their way back into the game, eventually overtaking the Tigers in the closing minutes. Defensively, T. Lundberg and J. Story were essential for Belton, working tirelessly to disrupt Temple's rhythm and keep the score close. Despite the tough loss, the Tigers showed great grit on the road, anchored by Alaniz’s scoring and the defensive hustle of Lundberg and Story.
