Frisco Dr. Pink Tournament Recap

This past weekend we competed in the Frisco Dr. Pink Tournament, playing three tough games against quality opponents.

We opened the tournament Friday with a 1–1 tie against Frisco Lebanon Trail. Lauren McKinney scored our lone goal, continuing to be a consistent attacking presence. Later that same day, we faced JJ Pearce and came up short in a 2–0 loss after a hard-fought game.

Our final game of the weekend was against Wakeland, where we fell 5–0. Despite the scoreline, Destiny Mendez delivered an outstanding performance in goal, making numerous saves while facing heavy and sustained pressure from a strong Wakeland attack.

The tournament provided valuable experience and highlighted areas for growth as we continue to prepare for district play.

Next up: We hit the road on Friday, January 9, for an away game against Pflugerville Weiss. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM.
