Warm December afternoon as the JVB Boys Soccer Team start the their match season against the Shoemaker Grey Wolves. The Tigers started the match with 2 quick goals by Ethan Trevino making the score 2-0. The midfield and back line struggled a bit to keep their formation but kept the Wolves from scoring in the 1st half.
The second half started quick as the Wolves found a way to spread out our defenders and scored 2 goals making it 2-2. A determined Tigers team wanted to win and our very own Auner Suate Vargas put the Tigers ahead 3-2 finishing the game. The Tigers have a long season ahead and a lot to clean up but with the passion and grit they have I see much success for them in the future. Go Tigers!!!
