Belton Tiger Basketball delivered an impressive road victory Friday night, defeating Killeen Ellison 82–67 at Ellison in a performance defined by unselfishness, composure, and togetherness. From the opening tip, Belton controlled the tempo with crisp ball movement and disciplined execution, answering every Ellison push with poise. The Tigers’ ability to play connected basketball on both ends of the floor set the tone and allowed them to build and maintain separation throughout the contest.
Belton’s offensive balance was on full display as Jay’dn Loggins, Daniel Briscoe, Ty Johnson, Noah Childers, and Luke Munden all finished in double figures. The group was outstanding not just in scoring, but in how they created for one another, consistently making the extra pass and trusting the offense. Their playmaking and selflessness kept Ellison’s defense stretched and off balance, turning good possessions into great ones and highlighting the Tigers’ strong chemistry.
The depth of Belton proved to be the difference, as the bench delivered a major spark. Abran Knight and Gavin Ross were tremendous off the bench, bringing elite defensive intensity, relentless effort, and physicality that changed the flow of the game. Keishawn Coles, Jayden Holt, and Asa Thomas provided high-level energy and enthusiasm, lifting the team during key stretches and maintaining momentum. With all 10 players contributing in meaningful ways, the Tigers showcased a complete team performance and left Ellison with a convincing and well-earned win.
