The Freshman A team started off the second round of district with a tough loss to Lake Belton. Markayla Allen Played great defense as the top of our 1-3-1 Press and caused many turnovers. Our defense played great together and grabbed 19 steals in total, we just couldn't get our transition together. The girls really picked it up in the second half and grabbed a few back to back transition buckets. Mia Staley led us with 9 rebounds, Anessa Ortiz led us with 6 steals, and Madelyn Rodriguez led us with 8 points.
