The Belton Freshman White Tigers recently traveled for a competitive non-district matchup against the Rogers JV squad. The game remained a back-and-forth affair through the first three periods, with neither team able to pull away. Belton’s execution on both ends of the floor allowed them to carry a slim two-point lead into the final quarter, setting the stage for a tense finish.
In the fourth quarter, the lead changed hands as Rogers managed to edge ahead in the closing minutes, resulting in a 29–30 loss for the Tigers. L. Thiem led the offensive effort for Belton, finishing the night with 10 points. He was supported closely by J. Story, who contributed 7 points while providing essential production in rebounding and interior defense. Additionally, T. Lundberg served as a defensive force throughout the game, contesting shots and helping the Tigers stay within striking distance until the final buzzer.
