Tigers Bring Home Hardware and Personal Bests From Waco

The Tiger Powerlifting team traveled to Waco this past weekend to compete in the Andrew Billings Invitational, one of the region’s premier meets, and delivered an impressive performance filled with podium finishes, personal bests, and strong placements across multiple weight classes.

Leading the way was Corbin Wittman, who captured 1st place in the 132-pound weight class with a season-high total of 1,070 pounds, showcasing both consistency and dominance against a competitive field.

In the 181-pound weight class, the Tigers placed two lifters in the top seven. Brandon Henriquez earned 6th place with a total of 935 pounds, while Jaxson Allen followed closely in 7th place with a total of 890 pounds.

The 198-pound weight class also saw strong Tiger representation. Ethan Greenless finished 6th with an outstanding total of 1,080 pounds, while Dominic Weinert placed 19th with a total of 835 pounds.

At 165 pounds, Jorge Guardiola delivered a strong performance, finishing 4th with a total of 1,010 pounds, and Noah Hernandez added a 7th-place finish with a total of 885 pounds.

In the heavier divisions, Ian Smith placed 12th in the 220-pound weight class with a total of 1,030 pounds. At 275 pounds, Keaton Richardson earned 9th place with a total of 950 pounds while lifting unequipped, and Cameron Jones finished 16th with a total of 725 pounds.

The Tigers’ performance in Waco reflects the hard work, discipline, and commitment of the athletes in the weight room and at practice. Congratulations to all lifters on an outstanding meet and continued progress throughout the season.
